Monzo was named the best bank in the UK for customer satisfaction, but how does your bank stack up against the other current account providers?
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has identified Monzo, Starling, and Nationwide Building Society as the leading banks.
In the end, most people will choose a bank that comes from a reliable friend, regardless of whether it offers the best current account services, savings accounts, or a switching incentive. Current account and business account providers were ranked from best to worst in the most recent customer satisfaction survey conducted by the CMA.
Customers were most likely to recommend Monzo, Starling, and Nationwide Building Society to friends and family when it came to personal current account providers in Britain.
Eighty-two percent of Monzo's customers who responded to the survey said they would suggest the bank to others, compared to 77 and 75 percent for Starling and Nationwide, respectively.
With only 49% of consumers stating they would suggest the bank to friends and family, the Royal Bank of Scotland ranked last on the list.
For business accounts, Monzo was voted the best bank by British consumers, with 85% of respondents stating they would suggest the service.
With 83 percent and 81 percent of their respective business clients stating that they would recommend the banks, Mettle and Starling Bank ranked second and third in this category.
Monzo has been ranked as the best provider for personal current account holders for the eleventh consecutive year, according to the most recent survey results. 2018 saw the beginning of the surveys' publication.
"We are immensely proud of our achievement of being named the UK's Most Recommended Provider once again, as it comes directly from our customers," stated Karen Tiltman, general manager of UK Operations at Monzo.

Your goals will determine which kind of current account is best for you.
