The winners of the July Premium Bonds prize draw have been revealed by NS&I
How can you determine if you were fortunate this month and who won the jackpot?
Millions more have won smaller prizes, and NS&I's July Premium Bonds prize draw has made two lucky savers millionaires overnight.
Nottingham and Norwich are the new Premium Bonds millionaires for this month.
Bond 224LR913240, which has a maximum holding of 50,000 Premium Bonds, is held by the Norwich winner. In June 2014, the winning bond was purchased.
Bond number 83EP714276 is held by the fortunate Nottingham saver, who had 49,100 in Premium Bonds prior to winning the lottery. In October 1997, this winner purchased their millionaire bond.
Agent Million, an unnamed NS&I employee who travels across the nation to deliver the good news, will have already visited both jackpot winners to inform them of their newfound wealth.
A new millionaire hasn't been created by the prize draw, though. In this month's draw, more than 19,000 savers received prizes ranging from £1,000 to £100,000, with a prize fund rate of 3 to 8%.
One lucky Kent resident, who bought a bond in April, three months prior to this month's draw, won £100,000. They owned 40,000 Premium Bonds in total.
The two jackpot bonds were selected at random by ERNIE, NS&I's prize-drawing computer, along with more than 5 and a half million other winning bonds.
Since NS&I announced that the prize fund rate would be reduced to 3 percent in August, we can anticipate seeing fewer high value winners in the draw next month, but more savers will receive 25 prizes.
The average rate of return for an individual with average luck is represented by the prize fund rate, which is the benchmark that NS&I uses to decide how many prizes should be awarded each month.
Since September 2023, when the rate reached a recent peak of 4point 65 percent, this will be the fifth reduction.
In the prize draw held in July, the odds of winning were 22,000 to 1 for every 1 bond. This will not change in August.

In all, 5,995,712 Premium Bonds were awarded in the July prize draw, and bondholders received over 417 million of them.
Two millionaire jackpot winners are included in the total, along with the 2,945 people who won between £5,000 and £100,000 from NS&I this month.
In the meantime, nearly 6 million people received smaller payouts, ranging from 25 to 1,000.
The number of prizes awarded, arranged by value, is displayed in the table below.

How to find out if you won any of the July NS&I Premium Bonds.
You can check to see if you won a Premium Bonds prize in the July draw starting tomorrow, July 2.
You can do this by using the NS&I app or online prize checker tool, asking Alexa on Amazon, calling NS&I, or sending NS&I a letter.

Ninety percent of savers either have their winnings reinvested or have their Premium Bonds paid to them using the method they selected when they opened their accounts.
While you're checking to see if you won the prize draw in July, it might be worthwhile to see if you won something else without realizing it.
As of July 1, NS&I reports that 2,598,139 Premium Bond prizes totaling 103,270,175 are still pending claim.
Even if you have an unclaimed Premium Bond from the 1950s (as thirteen people do), it is still worthwhile to check because these prizes have no expiration date.
