NS&I has named the winners of the £1 million prizes in its November draw. One of them bought the winning bond only a year ago.

Two Premium Bonds holders are now millionaires following NS&I's latest monthly prize draw.
The Treasury-backed bank has confirmed the identities of November's two 1 million winners. The first comes from Shropshire.
The winning bond was 652GW962089, purchased in November 2025. The couple hold the maximum Premium Bonds holding of 50,000.
The win coincides with NS&I marking 70 years since Premium Bonds first went on sale.
Andrew Westhead, NS&I retail director, said: "Seventy years ago in November 1956, the first Premium Bonds went on sale, marking the beginning of what has become one of the nations best-loved savings products."
"It's wonderful to mark this milestone alongside two new millionaires and generations of savers who still enjoy checking each month to see whether they have won a tax-free prize."
How many prizes will be distributed in November's Premium Bonds prize draw?
NS&I will also distribute millions of smaller prizes this month, including 96 100,000 prizes.
Meanwhile, the draw will award 192 prizes of 50,000 and 385 prizes of 25,000.

NS&I reveals half-year results
NS&I published its half-year results on 28 October.
NS&I provided the government with 3 billion in net financing during the three months ending September 2026. That brought the total for the first half of the year to 4 billion.
For the 2026/27 tax year, NS&I is aiming for 15 billion, with a margin of plus or minus 4 billion.
Sarah Coles, head of personal finance at investment platform AJ Bell, said two factors made it more likely that NS&I would come close to its 15 billion target for 2026/27. The first was stronger fundraising during the second quarter of 2026, after interest rates rose across its savings accounts.
Second, will the four-percentage-point increase in savings tax, due to take effect in April 2027, make Premium Bonds more appealing to higher earners?
"For people who pay tax on part of their savings interest - particularly higher- or additional-rate taxpayers - Premium Bonds become more appealing because their prizes are tax-free," Coles said.
Premium Bonds may prove attractive enough here to bring more money into NS&I's coffers without another rate increase across its product range.
