The Mays Premium Bonds prize draw winners were revealed by NS&I, making two fortunate savers millionaires overnight.

The windfalls from the prize draw, which awarded nearly six million prizes to individuals who had saved money in premium bonds, totaled more than 376 million.

The smallest and most frequent prize was £25, while the rarest prize was £1 million, which was won by just two bondholders. Other awards range in value from £1,000 to £100,000.

Winners of smaller prizes won't have to wait long to find out if they were fortunate; starting on May 2, you can check if you won. Jackpot winners are announced on the first working day of each month.

How many people were the winners of the Premium Bonds prize draw in May 2026?

The distribution of the May Premium Bonds draw prizes will make just under six million people wealthier.

This month, 5,947,523 tax-free prizes totaling £376,180,825 were drawn.

With 17,682 prizes worth between £1,000 and £100,000 given out this month, there will still be a sizable number of winners for higher-value prizes, even though the majority of these will be worth £25.

How to find out if you won the Mays Prize Draw.
