Situated just a short distance from the charming villages of Broadway and Winchcombe, the serene 16-acre estate features a lake and walled gardens, making it the epitome of a rural getaway. Dumbleton Hall's 34 individually designed bedrooms and expansive public areas, which combine Belle poque refinement with 1920s glamour and William Morris prints, are a reflection of the building's past hosting literary and historical figures, such as Charles Dickens and the Mitford sisters.
At the hotel's main Cedar 1905 restaurant, executive chef Dean Westcar promotes locally sourced, seasonal Cotswolds produce, and starting in August, the Orangerie will provide intimate fine dining. The towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are easily accessible for a night out, as are a number of walking trails to whet the appetite.
