Andrew Tate news — Disgraced influencer and brother Tristan attend court today in bid to regain £3million seized assets

ANDREW and Tristan Tate are appearing in court once again today as the disgraced brothers make a fresh bid to regain their seized assets.

The Romanian government reportedly seized over £3.3million worth of assets from the controversial brothers – including company investments worth £84,000 and 21 Bitcoin worth about £440,000.

Today, Andrew and Tristan will appear at the Bucharest Tribunal for a pre-trial hearing that is also expected to look into their appeal to have their seized assets returned.

The Tate brothers were arrested in December 2022 as part of a probe into human trafficking ↗, rape, and organised crime.

They are accused of recruiting women on social media platforms ↗ and getting them to travel to their villa on the outskirts of Bucharest.

    In January 2023, prosecutors said they had seized 15 luxury vehicles and more than 10 properties and homes belonging to the suspects to prevent the assets from being sold or hidden.

  • Andrew Tate lost recent appeal

    Andrew Tate lost an appeal to extend his travel freedoms on Tuesday.

    A court upheld a previous ruling made on January 18 which forbade Tate from leaving Romania.

    The disgraced influencer had hoped to travel to the UK following the news that his mother was ill.

    But his stay in the BB house proved to be short-lived, and he was kicked off the Channel 5 show after a video of him appearing to assault a woman emerged.

    Tate told The Sun in 2016 that the video depicted role play.

    In 2022, rape and domestic abuse charities including Rape Crisis England and Wales and Women’s Aid called on TikTok to remove him from the platform over comments he’s made in videos.

    Under Romanian law, trafficking of adults carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

    However it is understood the trial is expected to take several years.

    Both Tate and his brother have denied allegations made against them.

    Last year, Romanian cops are believed to have seized around £10million worth of assets from disgraced influencer Andrew Tate.

    Supercars including a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Lamborghini were seized from his compound in Romania.

    DIICOT has also listed other assets including a collection of luxury watches worth £1 million.

    They include Hubolt, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Breitling and Rolex makes, Cancan reports. ↗

    Two gold bars and a gold coin with the image of a cobra snake and the inscription ONE OUNCE CASH 999.9 Gold have also been seized.

    The cops also list a number of properties and land in Romania including an eight and a four bedroom house.

    Cash and Bitcoin in the name of Tate, his brother Tristan, and Tristan’s partner Abigail Tyson worth around £355,000 have also been seized.
